About Fupaw
Helping pet parents choose better.
Fupaw helps pet parents make more confident buying decisions through practical product reviews, thoughtful comparisons, and useful buying guides.

A clearer choice
Why Fupaw Exists
Pet products can look remarkably similar on a product page, while the daily reality can be very different. A litter box needs room and upkeep. A fountain needs cleaning. A bed has to work for the pet who will actually use it.
Fupaw exists to help readers spend less time sorting through claims and more time finding what suits their pet, home, routine, and budget.
“Would we recommend this to another pet parent?”
Our editorial process
What We Do
We turn a crowded market into useful decisions—not generic lists of features.
Research
We look at product specifications, brand information, customer feedback, authoritative sources, and category standards to understand what a product is designed to do.
Compare
We compare quality, ease of use, pet comfort, durability, features, ongoing care, price, and value—so trade-offs are clear before you buy.
Recommend
We create plain-language buying guides, product comparisons, pros and cons, and best-for recommendations for real pet-and-home situations.

Useful before checkout—and after it.
We look beyond the product page to the cleaning, space, refills, noise, and routine that come with living with a product.
Trust and method
How We Review Pet Products
Good recommendations should go beyond product descriptions.
Research the category
We identify the real decisions in a category: safety, pet fit, maintenance, space, supply costs, and where marketing language can be misleading.
Evaluate what matters
We assess the details a buyer can use: specifications, design choices, cleaning access, replacement needs, and limitations worth knowing early.
Compare alternatives
We compare models for different needs instead of treating one product as right for every pet parent, budget, or home.
Update when things change
We aim to update guides when important details change, and welcome corrections when products, availability, or information moves on.
What informs our reviews: careful research, product specifications, manufacturer information, independent research, expert sources where appropriate, customer feedback, competitor comparison, and hands-on testing when it is available. We label hands-on and research-based work clearly; we do not claim to test every product.
Editorial values
Our Promise to Pet Parents
Recommendations should make sense for pets and the humans caring for them.
Commercial relationships should not determine our editorial opinions.
Some links may earn Fupaw a commission at no additional cost to the reader.
If information changes or needs correcting, we want to know.
The human side
Behind Fupaw
Built by pet people, for pet people.
Fupaw began with Fu Po—the cat behind the name—and the everyday questions that come with caring for an individual pet. Her needs made the project personal; the goal is now broader: better choices for cats, dogs, small pets, birds, fish and aquatic life, and reptiles.
Fupaw is an independent editorial project shaped by everyday life with Fu Po and by careful product research. We label research-based and hands-on work clearly so readers can understand the evidence behind each guide.
Reader questions, corrections, and real pet-home experiences help us identify what future guides should address.

How Fupaw Is Funded
Fupaw is reader-supported. Some links may be affiliate links, which means Fupaw may earn a commission if a reader purchases through them—at no additional cost to the reader. Commercial relationships never buy a better ranking or a positive opinion. If a product is gifted or a collaboration is sponsored in the future, that relationship will be disclosed clearly.
